Our program is designed to help you in three ways:
Take an online adventure to see what it's like to work in Accommodation and Hospitality. Learn about the jobs and real things that happen at work. Once you finish the program, you’ll be invited to our “Ask That” Accommodation and Hospitality Recruitment and Career day. Here, you’ll meet the employers, get the opportunity to ask questions and can even interview for jobs!
Attend the “Ask That" Accommodation and Hospitality Recruitment and Career Day event in selected areas. Meet local employers with jobs to fill. Hear what it is like to work in their business, what vacancies they have and how you get your foot in the door.
Register for the VWIP our online training program. This program will take you on a journey into the day-to-day realities of Accommodation and Hospitality roles. You’ll gain invaluable insights into job responsibilities, resources, and real-life scenarios encountered by workers in the field. To complete the training, you will need access to a computer, laptop, or tablet and the internet.

Once a participant has completed the training and has confirmed their interest the vacancies, they will be prepared to meet potential employers at the “Ask That” Accommodation and Hospitality Recruitment and Career Day.
This combined event brings together employers and job seekers. It's an ideal platform for connection, asking questions, building relationships, the ability to conduct initial interviews for available positions and recruit directly.

Participants, providers and other stakeholders join us for a face-to-face event. Connect directly with local employers showcasing current job openings. Engage in meaningful conversations, pose questions, and even partake in interviews on the spot.
Open to all eligible Workforce Australia participants (including Transition to Work participants) with a keen interest in potentially working in the Accommodation, Hospitality and Tourism sector.
